3rd Annual WNLR Track Meet!

We will run all the classic races from 100m to the mile, plus some field events.... and perhaps a few surprise events?!? I encourage all sprinters and wannabe sprinters to start adding more speed to your workouts in preparation for the big meet. Despite the short distances, this is a shockingly strenuous event! Perhaps join us for track practice every Monday at MPC, and let’s get ready to race!

Order of events:

  1. 1600m
  2. 100m
  3. 800m
  4. 200m
  5. 4x400m relay

Please bring a green shirt and a white shirt. We'll divide into teams and have a head-to-head competition. There are sure to be special prizes for our most impressive athletes.

The more the merrier, no matter your speed! You will be able to compete in as many or as few races as you'd like. If you would only like to attend and watch, we would definitely appreciate some volunteers to help start races and record times. Only one month til race day, so start adding in more speed workouts, improve your racing, and let's see how you can do in these shorter events!
